    Goosebumps

Watched some of the series, but never read the books. I'm not opposed to a feature film.

I had everything Goosebumps growing up. I had the books, watched the series, played the computer game and had Goosebumps stickers. A movie would be nice.

They'll probably do vignettes. When you think back, all of the TV episodes were only half an hour, and most of them pretty much covered the whole book; I'm sure they could easily fit three or four of the books into one movie. Like they did with A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Sounds good. Used to love Goosebumps. They were showing the series on Cartoon Network during Halloween, and I watched some of them. They're, of coarse, not high quality compared to the horror community, but they are great for kids.

I grew up with stuff like Monster Squad. So its only fair the younger kids get turned on to horror with some cool stuff. I'm not opposed to it. I just hope its something someone my age can enjoy too. Like again, monster squad. I'm 27 and still love that movie.

Same here. Thought it was pretty cool to watch them again since I hadn't see any since the 90's.

Used to read these books all the time. I'd check out a movie although it'll probably be a big cheesefest.

I still remember the first one I read as a kid it was Welcome to Camp Nightmare. After that it was all I read growing up. I think by time I turned 16 I had 3 boxes full of R.L.Stine books. I also read Fear Street.

Wha'? Seriously? I thought this series was gone and forgotten.

I loved the books when I was a kid. I was obsessed to the point where I would draw certain scenes from some of the chapters! :mhehe: I watched some of the episodes recently on Cartoon Network, and they seem so corny now compared to when I first saw them. And I had forgotten how much of a let-down some of the endings were!

Still, a movie sounds intriguing. Maybe on Horrorland!

Much better than a real horror movie.

RL.Stine wrote books for children, I see new adults haven't progressed. Infact I'd laugh if anyone over 25 looks foward to this.

I'm 18, I look forward to this! Hopefully it's R-rated with tons of gore!

I read SOME of the books, but can't recall most of 'em. As for the TV show, I loved how every episode had a non-Hollywood ending.

    I'm looking forward to this.
I loved the series, and owned
    everything imaginable.

    Bed Sheets, Curtains, The Books,
some VHS tapes that I still have, Pillows,
Pillow Covers. The list goes on and on.

    My favorite is...

this could be a cool thing, at least for younger kids. my nephew who is 7 loves horror movies, and he really likes goosebumps, so it'd be great to take him to see the movie.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually an R-rated movie targeted at the 18-20 something crowd that group up on these.

I watched some of the episodes recently and realized most of them were better then most kid stuff.
