    Silver Bullet 1985

Always thought this was an under rated film. It is pretty decent, kinda spooky and I like the two main characters, the brother and his sister and gary busey. It is one of the better stephem king based books

I enjoyed it but preferred Bad Moon. This is playing at a local theater next month, thinking of checking it out on the big screen.

I've always found Silver Bullet to be a decent - yet fairly tame, lazy afternoon horror piece. Even so it's a great example of a King story that really worked well on the big screen. Everett McGill was as solid as always, and The Busey was showcased nicely in prime form... the form that was of the Busey from the days of yore before he went out for smokes and left the gray matter reservation.

Story is simple but decent. If you dig on Everett he came out of retirement to reprise his role on Twin Peaks the Return.

yeah, i haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm still marathoning the original Twin Peaks run. it's pretty dense.

It had its moment in its day, but personally i don't think it ages well at all. Love the story, oddities, and the general unknowns scattered throughout the 2 seasons, but the acting was so horrible at times that it almost seemed to touch on parody. The new season is much better as well as acting, but at the same time really cranked it up a notch on the strange and interpretation meter.
