i would like to sincerely thank everyone for their condolences and sympathies for me on this very sad and very dark day, it really means a lot to me to hear from you all, fans and friends alike -- ameara would appreciate that as well, for all she ever really wanted was to be cared for and to be loved. ameara and i have a bond that goes beyond words and beyond this life here on earth and with that i will always feel connected to her spiritually. i am so very grateful to have been able to spend time with ameara and have her in my life, we taught each other a great deal about life, love and kindness, loyalty and making art. one dark ,cold, rainy night in 2003 she showed up at my door at 3am clutching a carton of milk, she had gotten kicked out of her dad's place -- she looked at me, shivering, with raindrops falling from her hair and said "i have no place to go" and i said "you do now dolly, you go in this blanket".

Just re-watched some of her films the other week Horrible way to go. Hope they both get some form of justice.
