Incredible directing, acting, writing, and unique plot with a lot of layers. Don't read up on it,
go in blind and you will not be sorry. If you don't like the slow, brooding brand of horror though

They think this is also a clever metaphorical idea to suggest we keep the worst aspects of our parents.

Film does have some nice creepy moments, but honestly the film was longer than it needed to be. There were moments where I just wanted the film to get to the point. I found the ending very lame. I looked around the theater after the lights came up and got the impression that they really didn't care for the film either.

Throughout the whole movie, you feel this palpable tension, like something is waiting to burst out, or something will happen. The atmosphere was very creepy. There were definitely a couple of "Oh shit" moments. When

, me and my wife just looked at each other with our mouth's open. Definitely wasn't expecting that. Then the last 20 or so minutes was just kind of blah, run of the mill type stuff
