I have played a number of modern adventure games in the last month or so this is easily one of the gest things I have ever played. The town of arcadia feels like a place that is actually real it's a laid back sea side town populated by a lot of characters. Lots of depth to the people you meet. They seem stereotypical at first but you really get to know them. Max and her best friend chloe get involved in several mysteries. Why can Max time travel? What happened to the missing girl rachel and what is going on with max's dream about a massive storm? The portrayal of teen life felt very authentic and the friendship between max and chloe was phenomenal. It all felt very real. The ending I chose was heart breaking and sad very tragic but it felt right for the story. I find myself dwelling on the ending a lot since the game ended a few days ago. It was a lot to process, I'll say that I wept, there is a song I had to look up it's called spanish sahara and it played beautifully over the final moments
