I will make a video of a few of my MANY failed attempts to beat her.
I'm no slouch either at this point so she is truly that difficult. The
amount of punishment she can take is crazy. I have gotten a full rage
meter which I have almost maxed out and hit her with 4 boulder throws
with very little damage done

Nooooooooo, I have not beaten this yet. But...I am very far into the story now and this rivals Naughty Dog
in terms of storytelling. The meat of the story is so compelling and well told. The voice acting is just as good
anything Naughty Dog has done, and the lore and how it is told at random points in the game by Mimir
(a severed head you carry around) tells you as you row to different areas of the map is very important and fascinating.
If you have played this franchise before who would have thought you would ever see Kratos be a vulnerable man
and actually feel sadness emitting from him? This is great, great stuff

I'm a little late to the party but I beat it this weekend on PC. I finished the regular game, all the sidequests, and did all the Valkyries.
Overall I loved the game, the story was the best part and it was amazing seeing Kratos in a heartbreaking light. I wasnt a big fan of the gameplay until about 2/3 of the way in when it finally started to click. I didn't even use any rune attacks until then, and once I figured out the timing and switching weapons between the blades and the axe did things really start to click. Then I felt like a total badass.
The best part of the gameplay were the Valkyrie fights, with that queen being insane. That was the only one I had to use a resurrection stone to beat.
The only part of the game that I really disliked was the "poison mist" location, running around and collecting the items was so tedious I couldnt wait to be done with it. I'm a slow gamer and like to really explore and putting a time limit on my exploration was garbage.
Overall I really loved it and look forward to them releasing Ragnarock on PC so I can keep avoiding getting a PS5.
