Since there are many gamers on this forum, every year I create a topic for E3. In that topic, I try to compile all of the announcements for the three days into one area. I don't skip out on anything or play favorites. Most presentations are neatly gathered here in case you can't watch it at home. So, what I usually do is real time updates to this topic as they are going and when the presentation is over, I edit it and make it all neat. I include trailers and every announcement from the presentation I just watched. I do this for all three consoles and the numerous game companies that have their own presentations.
So, until then, you can post here what you are hoping for and what you're not hoping for. Let's keep it civil though. There is a console wars thread for a reason. All the debates between Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo can go in that topic. This is for E3 discussion. For those pcmasterrace people, well I probably won't be covering the PC section because every year is a bore fest from them and I think it's usually like 30 minutes long and on the fourth random day. Most of the games announced will more than likely hit it anyway, so.
Me personally? I'll list what I'm most excited for from some of the companies
Microsoft:
-Hoping for some worth while exclusives because it's really killing the system. Sea of Thieves sank with reviews
-Achievements for regular Xbox games
-The rumor mill suggests that achievement score will actually mean something in the future
-Fable 4 is rumored
-Halo 6
-Gears of War 5 is rumored to be announced
Nintendo:
-Hoping they shed more light on their yearly subscription with their online. Currently, it's not too good. Even for $20 a year, the P2P doesn't nearly compare to designated servers and it's really hurting the online aspect of this great system. Nintendo knows how to do a lot of things, but figuring out online is not one of them. Plus, using your own cell phone as a microphone? Come on
-Smash Bros. gameplay
-Animal Crossing for Switch
-Open world Pokemon RPG (next generation and not Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee)
-Metroid Prime 4
Playstation:
-Last of Us 2
-Death Stranding
-Spiderman
-No new hardware will be shown at E3 according to someone from Sony
Bethesda:
-More information on Fallout 76
-Maybe an Elder Scrolls 6 announcement. I know it won't be released for some time, but them just announcing the game would be huge
-Doom II is on the rumor mill as well
-Rage 2 probably
Ubisoft:
-More than likely announce another Assassin's Creed. Which, I still have to play the last one because I heard it wasn't too bad.
-A new Splinter Cell has been rumored
-Beyond Good and Evil 2 hopefully. Would be a long time coming, but would be one of the biggest reveals of this year's E3 if they can say they are done with it
Also: Don't forget this video:
Square Enix:
-Final Fantasy 7 remake will sure be spoken about. That keeps getting delayed
-Kingdom Hearts 3
-Tomb Raider sequel
EA:
-(insert random sports game here)
-New Battlefield game
-Anthem (which people are already condemning). It will be interesting to see how EA tries to gain back the audience
Also, for random games, I am hoping they detail more about Red Dead Redemption 2 and Borderlands 3. I'm also secretly hoping for another Arkham game, but I heard the makers may do a Superman game as well, so who knows.
So, yeah any talk about upcoming games and stuff from E3 can be here. I'll tally up all the titles and such and will hopefully be able to do every presentation next week. If not, I'll say so before hand.
