Watched both the Magnificent 7 remake and 7 Samurai over the last two days

I loved both films. Loved the film, had Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Vincent D'onofrio and Ethan Hawk all in the same movie. It was highly enjoyable with some great action set pieces just a lot of fun throughout. That was yesterday today I decided to watch the original film 7 Samurai and found it to be a great experience. I found the film had a great way of showing humanity in it filled with lots of emotion. You really got to know the village well and the troubles of the people that lived there It was a 3 and a half hour poetic experience that really pulled me in. It was the first time watching either film, maybe I'll get around to watching the original Magnificent 7 someday.

Never saw the original, but the western one with Denzel and Pratt was fun

Seven Samurai is IMO one of the top three or four films in the history of cinema. An amazing movie in pretty much every regard.
