I finally got around to watching this and it was alright. The stories are fairly original in their own right, but they're also kinda boring as well, and I generally love westerns and am a fan of the Coen Bros. Some of the tales started out interesting, but would either lead nowhere or ended with me wondering "was that it?". There are only a couple standout stories among the bunch, but overall I expected better from it.

Agreed. I liked the stories, but they were pretty slow. I liked the last story a lot. I initially thought it was about Buster Scruggs and didn't know it was an anthology. But going into it blind was pretty cool. Definitely better than more recent Coen Bros. flicks.

I'd give it a 7/10

I think my fav. story was the 2nd to the last involving the lady and the rustlers--that old dude was a badass fending off all the Indians
