Anyone See The Nun?

Saw that Redbox added The Nun and thought about renting it this week but wanted to know what some of you thought about the movie. I wasted a ton of time and money on some terrible horror films over the past year at Redbox. Is it worth the $1.50? Lol

I'd wait for Netflix. It's not as bad as many have made it out to be, but it's not very good either. It's interesting and even somewhat creepy at times, but overall it's pretty generic and predictable. I'd give it a 6/10

A 6/10 from you is worth the dollar fifty to me. I'm not picky and as long as the movie isn't trash I can sit through the entire film. If you gave it a 2/10 then I wouldn't even bother. lol

It's really not that bad. I went into it with a negative mindset, but wound up having some fun with it. I would give it a high 6/10 myself.

Watched it today. Not great but not bad at all. I give it a 6.5/10 and really liked the way they tied into the other Conjuring movies. Give it a shot.

I've read the script. Easily one of the worst major release scripts I've ever read. So unless it under went some major revisions in later drafts, I can't fathom the movie itself being any good. Reviews I've read of it only cement that notion. Full disclosure, though -- I'm not a fan of the series. I didn't like the first and thought it was a massive waste of a great cast, and I thought part 2 was even worse. So it's reasonable to think a third entry would only continue that downward spiral. Not that I'm in any kind of rush to watch it and find out.

Oh I hate the Conjuring series. I think it's massively overrated. The Nun connects to those films, but you don't have to see them to get the film. Nun is pretty lame and has a bad script of course, but it's really not that bad. I'm not recommending it by any means, but I think it's one of the better entries in the series because it obviously doesn't take itself seriously like the other ones do.

Still haven't seen it yet. I recently bought a new Vizio for my bedroom and need to buy a converter so I can hook up my DVD player.
