Good Boys (2019) and Booksmart (2019)

Two similar themed movies with red band trailers were released today, one's called Good Boys and the other is called Booksmart. Both movies are trying to be a new Superbad.





Good boys looks somewhat funny, while I didn't laugh once during the Booksmart trailer.

Both of these movies look pathetic and desperately terrible.

Booksmart has been getting a lot of positive reviews, which is a bit surprising to me since I didn't really find the movie all that great. It's interesting and more amusing than it is funny, but comedy is subjective so apparently there's a lot more people out there that found it funnier than I did. It's not a bad watch overall though, especially since they did try some things different and go against certain stereotypes.
