Halloween Kills

I still need to give this one a go. I liked the last one which got a good bit of hate. From what I have read about this one the kills were pretty great but that is about it. I never go into these with real high hopes anyways so I do not think I will be let down. We shall see though!

Ha! I will still sit through it! I still think the worst part of the last one was seeing Mikey's bald spot while they showed him chained to the ground at the beginning....father time finally catching up to good ol Mikey!!

I’m a huge fan of Danny McBride so this one was a real let down. I wouldn’t say it’s one of the worst, I’d rank it in the middle of the series. I don’t care for Michael being so brutal and in front and center of the camera. A shot of him walking towards the camera in the original is such a scary shot and it’s just him walking in shadows. UFC Michael is not scary.

Halloween Kills was a solid movie that delivered when it came to the title of the film. No movie is perfect and Halloween Kills is no exception, but I can't really complain much about the film and watched it multiple times already.

I still haev not tuned into it yet or the trailer. I am not really in a rush to see it...I know I will get to it...pissed that Candyman is still $19.99...ain't paying that either!

Just finished watching this on Peacock. I opined earlier in this thread that based on the trailer, this movie looked like a steaming pile of hot garbage. I was wrong. It's worse. I'm not going to go on a whole diatribe about it. I'm not even going to provide a synopses or capsule review. I'll just say that it is without a doubt the worst film in the series for me. It's as if the writers looked at what made any of the previous movies good, and then intentionally went the other way with it. I can't even bring myself to be optimistic that the series now has nowhere to go but up, because that's how I felt after Halloween '18, yet still they managed to out-turd that one. BOMB.

I watched this, well because you all did -- otherwise I just might have skipped it entirely. I am reasonably glad I didn't, I thought it was a decent slasher. Kills were great and I didnt go in wanting anything more than that.

I didn't even like the kills. There was one kill, where Michael kicks the car door and makes the woman shoot herself in the head, where I literally groaned aloud, "Jesus fuckin' Christ."

I groaned that phrase many times throughout the movie.

So I did not hate this as much as a lot of people did....I mean it is the 11th installment. I WAS NOT expecting a great storyline. I think the one thing that I found most annoying was MM when he found himself surrounded and started fighting people off like he was in a 1980's kung fu movie...that shit was ridiculous...all in all I liked the vibe it gave off seemed like a straight forward slasher....I have to say he felt the most BRUTAL in this...I mean my dude just went straight for the throat with these kills!

Seriously...does MM storyline really have anywhere else it can go!? I mean we are getting another once clearly by the ending...
