I'm a fan of the games, so I'll probably check the series

So I've played the games, but I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan or follow the story much, so I knew going into the show that it would have its own storyline separate from the games. Aside from that, I wasn't sure what to expect and ultimately I found it to be a pretty enjoyable series. I actually liked it right from the beginning, where it's clear that this is meant for a more mature audience. I dug the new storyline and I liked the characters and action. I do have some minor complaints, mainly the action was spread a little too much and considering how action packed the games are, the show seemed like it needed more. Next to that, a lot of the CG is solid, but there are scenes here and there that are a bit questionable. Negative aside, the pacing was pretty solid for the most part and I was entertained from the beginning to the end. I'm looking forward to the next season. 7/10 from me

Just finished the second season, which was a big improvement over the first in almost every way. Not that I hated the first season or anything, but it did have its share of issues. This latest season must've gotten a budget increase or something because there's a lot more action and better CG. I had a blast watching it and hopefully the pace and everything continues in the next season.
