(Apple+) Ted Lasso

A friend recommended this show and after reading about all the positive reviews it has gotten I decided to check it out and I'm glad I did, because it's a great show. It takes your standard fish-outta-water tale and adds many more layers to it, because it's not only funny, but surprisingly well written and offers some interesting and sometimes complex characters and situations. And while it follows a coach for a soccer team, you don't even need to know the sport to understand or be into the show, because that's only part of the story. I recommend checking it out if you're in the look out for a new comedy.

Not sure if anyone here watches, but I figured I'd add my thoughts since the show is officially over after only three seasons and it's not because it was cancelled, it was simply never intended to go on for very long.

Another solid season and series finale for an overall great show. I had many laughs and even some tears here and there. It's probably one of the better, more emotionally-invested, comedies I've seen in a good while. I still stand by my initial post, if you want to check a good comedy to give this a look. It doesn't matter if you like soccer or not, because you'll get invested in the characters before anything else.

The series as a whole gets an 8/10 from me
