Everyone is comparing this to No Man's Sky, I mean it looks identical but not as colorful.

Over a thousand planets to explore.

Rumor has it that one of these planets contains the canvas bags everyone was promised...

I really hope they learned from their hiccup over Fallout 76. I absolutely loved Fallout 4, so I just hope they keep going with the quality from here on out. I know it's going to be a bug fest at launch, Bethesda games always are, but it's going to be hard not to get a collector's edition of this thing.

So, I'm playing this on Game Pass for PC and I have to say, so far it is excellent. I'm having a blast trying to build up my sneak and constantly getting arrested and guilt tripped by people lmao. I traveled to a random planet and there was this abandoned biotics lab. Went through there and faced some tough enemies. I'm really not concentrating on the main story even though most websites are saying to finish the main game first before exploration.

What I'm really shocked about is the minimal amount of bugs for a Bethesda game. Sometimes the AI can act a bit wonky if they haven't been alerted, but this is far less than other games I've played by them. It looks great on my PC as I'm running it with a constant FPS on Ultra settings across the board. I can see myself playing this for quite some time.

It seems a lot of Playstation fanboys are saying how "bad" the game is even though it's in early access for another couple of days. Seems like they're jealous that this Bethesda game won't be on their system, but fanboys ruin everything and I'm having a ton of fun so far.

Yeah, I'm also enjoying the game and finding the lack of bugs and glitches a bit surprising. I'm trying to just stick to the main story, but it's hard not to do some of this side stuff and just explore, but from what I understand it has a good new game+ that changes certain things up in your new playthough, specifically new dialogue choices. And I believe you can choose not to play through the campaign if you don't want and just explore and do stuff, sorta like a sandbox game, but in outer space. So my current goal is try to stick to the campaign and do most of my exploring in new game+

I'll probably be glued to this for a good while. I'm especially looking forward to seeing what the mod community comes up with in the upcoming months.

Just completed the campaign earlier and started on NG+. I dunno how I didn't know this, but I guess I missed the fact that when you do NG+ you lose all your items. You keep your powers, skills, and money, but everything else is lost, which sucks considering how much time and money I spent in building up my ship. It's also kinda silly considering you get legendary unique weps by defeating the last boss. What's the point in that if you lose it by starting a NG+? That's my biggest complaint in an otherwise fun and entertaining game.

Either way, I plan on doing all the side stuff and exploring this time 'round. Hopefully I'll find better stuff than I had previously along the way. I'm chosing to play through the campaign again, so I can fight the boss, but I'll be keeping the legendary weps this time, because I probably won't do another NG+.

Oh wow that's disappointing. However, I won't be beating it for a while. I'm doing the Crimson Fleet side missions and having a blast. I want to explore as much as possible without beating the campaign atm
