I can stomach some pretty bad films, by all objective standards...but - this looks pretty stinky even to me. Arrr, who am I kidding? I will probably end up watching it anyways.

Interested in this since I saw the trailer a few weeks ago. It's getting some surprisingly strong reviews, too, mostly crediting it for being exactly the kind of movie you'd hope for with that premise and title. I dig Elizabeth Banks as an actor, but I've not seen anything she's directed previously. Fingers crossed it delivers on its totally preposterous premise (though it is based, very loosely and with extreme exaggeration, on a real incident).

Yeah this one's not worth running out and seeing, it's got some delightfully gory kills here and there, the Cocaine Bear herself is super fun to watch whenever she's on and it gave me a few laughs. But the story is so awkwardly stretched out and messy, the characters are mostly confusing and moronic, Ray Liotta as fun as he was felt under-utilized. It's super dumb fun, nothing makes much sense in it but it's a fun movie to watch with friends while eating pizza and then forgetting about it afterwards.
