Based on a single chapter, the Captain's Log, from Bram Stoker's classic 1897 novel Dracula, the story is set aboard the Russian schooner Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo - twenty-four unmarked wooden crates - from Carpathia to London. The film will detail the strange events that befell the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a terrifying presence on board the ship. When it finally arrived near Whitby Harbour, it was a derelict. There was no trace of the crew.

Good cast, I'll watch it. It has to be better than that crappy BBC Dracula show.

This one looks like it might be even better and more interesting than the upcoming Renfield movie with Nicholas Cage as Dracula. This is definitely another one I will be on the look out for.

Watched it this weekend. It was definitely the scariest Dracula movie I've seen. Lots of great tension and it kept reminding me of The Thing or Alien. Worth a watch.

I thought it was great. Solid acting and effects combined with a lot of tense scenes. I personally gave it an 8/10
