    (Apple TV) Silo

Binged this new sci-fi series within a few days thanks to it hooking me right from the start. There have been a lot of stories about people living in underground shelters, but this one still somehow manages to do some new and interesting stuff. Highly recommend giving it a look if you're in the mood for a new sci-fi mystery. I can't wait to see what's in stored for us next season. 8/10

Exactly. There's derfinitely not enough of quality shows around anymore IMO. Take what you can get and hang on when the cream rises to the top.

I really liked it, and it's one of my favorite characters from Furgeson now. My housemate was too hung up on being shown a bigger mystery at the beginning than she thinks she's solving the whole show, but I loved that about it. I hope it gets extended.

Speaking of Foundation, I saw the first season but haven't been able to continue passed the first episode or two (edit: of S2). Even for the shiny. I just can't believe these people are a part of, much less controlling, this world with this sort of reach and how it seems both big and tiny at the same time.

That said, I still think Apple does scifi exceedingly well in general. I can't wait for the next season of Severance, and really dug Shining Girls. On the later, I read the book and like the series overall even more.

Next to HBO, Apple seems to be pumpin' out some solid shows overall and Shining Girls is next on my list

Totally, or at least there's an expectation for a certain level of quality now from both. I know a lot of people don't like how Westworld wound up but I think most really dug at least the first couple seasons.

Amazon has some strong scifi but I just don't trust them to follow through much anymore. I was seriously into Counterpart, which got two seasons and stars JK Simmons, who's just awesome in anything he does, playing a dual role. And then, again, a JK Simmons scifi show, Night Sky, was pretty good. Only getting the one season. I'm not sure if Tales From the Loop warranted a second season, as just more stories, but I liked its sombre tone without making me want to off myself like every episode of Black Mirror was doing.

Shining Girls...I didn't really know you could do psychological, multiverse, cosmic serial killer stories but apparently you can!
