Wow it has definitely been awhile since I posted something on the board. No I haven't left UHM for another site; I have just been so busy that I haven't had the time to post a single thing ANYWHERE! What have I been doing you may ask? Well let me tell you! I've been writing and working on getting my first feature film, a horror/comedy called, Generation Z. Generation Z is about 3 friends and their outlandish adventures as they struggle to survive a killer kid apocalypse that was brought on by an evil children's television network.
Last time I counted we had 20+ deaths in the movie, oh yes there will be blood! We definitely don't shy away on the horror and gore in Generation Z. At it's core Generation Z is a killer kid movie in the same vein of 'The Children of the Corn' series and 'Village of the Damned' but it's much much more than that; we have a great story, multilayer and fleshed out characters, a socially relevant message and laugh out loud comedic gags.
Now I am currently in the dreaded stage of pre-production that is called...raising money! I have started an account on this website called IndieGoGo that allows independent filmmakers in fund-raising. Basically what happens is, whenever someone donates to a project they get an incentive prize in return. An example of one incentive for Generation Z is, if you donate 20 dollars you get a Generation Z t-shirt. So if you want to help me out and want to help out an original horror film than please donate. Everyone who donates will receive a special thanks in the credits of Generation Z.
So check out all the incentives here: http://www.indiegogo.com/Generation-Z and please help out. I promise you guys at UHM will be the first to hear about all updates on the progress of Generation Z.
