I been hearing alot about a remake of "Nightmare on Elm Street" and a new Freddy. Is that true and who's going to replace him? Rumor have it that Michael Rosenbaum from Smallville or even Billy Bob Thornton is suppose to replace Sir Robert Englund is that true?

Why? Because he wrote, directed, and produced all the previous ones? Everyone seems to think Englund created the character and there's some unwritten law that he has to play him for the rest of eternity. We don't even know who's going to be the next Freddy, so let's give him a chance before we start all this "He sucks, Englund is the only Freddy" talk.

not gonna be Billy Bob. He's already said that was just a rumor. Michael Rosenbaum was seen having lunch with Michael Bay so the Freddy rumors started. Not that I wouldn't mind Michael playing Freddy. I'm sayin Billy Zane.
