Anything by Dario Agento, Bava, Lucio Fulci,George A. Romero, and David Cronenberg. I prefer the earlier work of Wes Craven and John Carpenter.I'm over the remakes. Rob Zombie would be an even better director if he stuck to his original ideas. House of a 1000 Corpses and the Devils Rejects were great movies. I also like the work of John Landis. Innocent Blood is one of the best vampire movies to date. Ginger Snaps is obviously also one of my other favorite series of Horror movies. I tend to love Stephen Kings books more than the movies made from them. However Christine, IT, Maximum Overdrive, Firestarter, Silver Bullet,Creepshow,Dolores Claiborne, Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Half,Carrie,Cat's Eye and Graveyard Shift were pretty damned awesome movies. I enjoyed the book versions of The Shinning and Pet Sematary way more than their film adaptations.
