Kevin Greutert (Saw VI, Saw 3D, Jackals, Saw X) is said to be returning to helm this new installment. (2/5/24)
At the moment there's no word if Tobin Bell or Shawnee Smith will be back, but it seems likely.
It's currently unknown if director Kevin Greutert (Saw VI an Saw: The Final Chapter, Saw X) will return.
Writers Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger (duo behind Jigsaw, Spiral, Saw X) will not return to script this new installment. He was quoted saying the following via social media: "Pete and I are sitting this chapter out. Very excited to see this one as a fan of the franchise. I think people will be pleased with the team." (12/12/23)
The previous installment was a prequel that took place between the first two films and saw the return of Tobin Bell as Jigsaw. The movie proved to be a hit, earning over $107-million on a reported $13-million budget. It was a surprise hit with fans and critics as well, receiving a lot of positive feedback.
This is the eleventh installment in the Saw franchise.
