More than half a dozen new releases are coming this week, with the majority debuting on Friday. The lone title arriving tomorrow is Eli Roth's ICE CREAM MAN, which lands on VOD. Meanwhile, Friday brings several notable releases, including the slasher comedy BUZZKILL, which debuts on Tubi; the latest supernatural pic FAMILY, which premieres on VOD; and the Japanese ghost movie NEVER AFTER DARK, which hits select theaters.

After being disappointed by so many horror anthologies, I have become reluctant to seek them out. At Death’s Door only reinforces that hesitation, prompting me to reconsider the anthology films currently in my screener queue. But let’s get into the unavoidable.
