It’s been a good minute and a half since my last James Cullen Bressack film review. This revelation hit me hard last night after screening The Workout. I’ve really missed this guy’s work, damnit!
A Murder in Oakland: Beauty Is Deadly (2025)

This was a tough watch. Not because it was horrifying, adrenaline-fueled or gory (not a drop of blood was spilled in creating this low budget film) but because I’m not entirely sure if murder was the narrative of this would-be true crime film.
Bambi: The Reckoning (2025)

We all know the story of Bambi…the sweet and adorable fawn who grows up in the forest “alone” after he loses his mother to hunters.

Looks like we've got another decent number of releases this week. Specifically, DANGEROUS ANIMALS about a serial killer on a boat lands on PVOD tomorrow, after a theatrical run last month.
