Filmed in Hungary.

Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster) returns, but will be playing a character called "The Tin Can Man," who is a robot that Eddie and Grandpa Munster made together for a school science fair.

Cassandra Peterson (aka Elvira) plays "Barbara Carr, the #1 real estate agent in all of Mockingbird Heights."

Jorge Garcia plays "Floop, Dr. Wolfgang’s hunchback assistant and Herman Munsters best buddy."

Catherine Schell plays a new character named "Zoya Krupp," who is some sort of "Gypsy Queen."

Richard Brake plays "Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, Transylvania’s most popular Mad Scientist."

Sheri Moon Zombie plays "Lily Munster."

Jeff Daniel Phillips plays "Herman Munster."

Daniel Roebuck plays "Grandpa Munster."

Pre-production is currently underway and Rob Zombie updated fans via social media with blueprints to the recreation of The Munsters house on Mockingbird Lane. According to Zombie, "The blueprints are done! Time to start the construction. Get ready for the most perfect Munsters house since 1964. I want this thing exact." (7/12/21)

While not confirmed, it is believed that this project will ultimately premiere on NBC's Peacock streaming platform. (6/8/21)

Recent rumors are saying that Sheri Moon Zombie and Jeff Daniel Phillips will be playing Lily and Herman Munster, with the rest of the cast filled out with names like Richard Brake, Dan Roebuck, Jorge Garcia and Cassandra (Elvira) Peterson. Of course, none of this has been confirmed, but considering how Zombie loves to reuse actors it wouldn't be a surprise to see the names in the film. (6/8/21)

A remake of the series was made in 2012 called Mockingbird Lane, from director Bryan Singer (X-Men movies) but a full series failed to come to fruition due to disagreements with NBC. The pilot ended up getting released as a TV-movie during the Halloween season.

This is apparently a dream project for Rob Zombie, who has reportedly been "chasing for 20 years."

This is based on the 1964 sitcom that aired on CBS back in the day. The series ran for a couple years and aired 70 episodes and also spawned a handful of TV-movies.
