No official plot yet, but the first movie revolved around a girl with the psychic ability to communicate with insects, who uses her powers in hopes of stopping a local serial killer that's terrorizing the young women in and around her school.

It's said that this sequel will be "an American film with a U.S. director and U.S. and international talents."
This is said to be a "present day sequel" to the 1985 Italian movie Phenomena (also known as Creepers) from director Dario Argento. The movie also featured a young Jennifer Connelly in her first starring role.
