First Look: THE BLOODLINE OF BATHORY

"Some legacies are written in blood"

A new supernatural horror flick inspired by the legend of Elizabeth Bathory emerges from the shadows later this year from ITN Distribution. THE BLOODLINE OF BATHORY, produced by Natasha Tosini (who also stars), blends gothic horror, psychological tension, and dark humor, brought to life through extensive practical effects work.

Set against the backdrop of a supposed historic Bathory site in Yorkshire, the movie follows "a group of young women whose overnight stay inside a commercialized tourist attraction spirals into terror after they uncover a disturbing diary linked to Bathory’s blood-soaked legacy. As the house transforms into an inescapable labyrinth and a sinister supernatural force awakens within its walls, the group soon realizes they are trapped inside something far older—and far more dangerous—than they ever imagined."

The film stars Kelly Rian (Cinderella's Curse), Natasha Tosini (Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare), Jasmine Sumner (Ever After), Claudia Gregory (Finders Keepers), Gemma Gordon (Dead Name) and Michael Geary (The Arbiter).

According to the press release, THE BLOODLINE OF BATHORY combines gothic European folklore with claustrophobic survival horror, seeking to recapture the atmosphere of classic supernatural cinema through a modern lens. Blending historical mythology, practical effects-driven horror, and mounting psychological dread, the film promises a haunting descent into a nightmare where the past refuses to remain dead.
