We're just a couple days away from officially entering October and so far, the month is already starting strong with over a dozen new releases to check out. For starters, if you missed them in theaters, tomorrow sees the VOD release of a couple gory horror comedies: JIMMY AND STIGGS and THE TOXIC AVENGER. Meanwhile, Friday is where most of the new titles are landing, with films hitting theaters like the killer animal flick COYOTES and the haunted house pic (from the POV of a dog) titled GOOD BOY.

At the same time, we have several movies hitting VOD like the soldier's vs dinos flick PRIMITIVE WAR, the one-shot creature feature SCURRY and the latest body horror movie SHELL. Also on Friday is the release of the latest installment in the V/H/S franchise titled V/H/S/ HALLOWEEN, which debuts on Shudder. And that's only a portion of what's releasing this week! Check below for all the notable titles coming out.

TUESDAY - SEPTEMBER 30th (VOD)

A dark, mysterious and ‘innocuous’ alien substance has slowly taken root in the world. Hank, a failed football star turned-high-school science teacher, has blamed the Ick all these years for his limp. When the Ick eventually evolves and attacks, he chooses to save the life of a student he suspects may be his daughter above the lives of all the other possessed and panicked students. It’s hysteria through several grotesque scenes that he triumphs to become the hero he was meant to be.

RABBIT TRAP

The year is 1973. Married musicians Daphne and Darcy Davenport have moved from London to a remote cabin in Wales to finish their new record. THE TOXIC AVENGER
