More like bored to death. This is the film debut of writer/director William Malone, whom you may remember as the man behind the House on Haunted Hill remake and the horrible FearDotCom. Poor William made his debut with a rocky start, because this flick is just plain horrible. Not only is it incredibly boring, but it's also a rip-off of the Alien franchise with how the creature looks.

The story revolves around an ex-cop-turned-hack-writer, who aids an investigator in search of who's killing various people around the city. The duo discovers that it isn't the work of a man, but a genetic experiment gone mad!.. Oh, how original. The creature seems to like to hang out in the sewers, so the two have to venture down there and put a stop to the little bugger once and for all.

What this movie lacks in originality, it makes up for in campiness, because this is just straight low-budget and cheesy at times. I think I would have preferred this to have been a regular 80's slasher than a creature flick, because it was just a huge rip-off of other flicks. There was some decent gore at times, but with its low-budget, you can't expect a whole lot.
