Try running check disk?

Command line: chkdsk c: /f

tried, didn't tell me I had a problem. When I restart I see this.

"PRI Master Hard Disk:hard Disk failure is imminent please back up your hard drive and have it replaced"

Don't know man, your HD probably has a shitload of bad sectors despite what chkdsk says. I guess the best advice would be to buy a new HD and salvage whatever data you can from your old one.

back your stuff up ASAP and buy a new drive, not much longer now before it goes down hill fast.

It's backed up. it took 3 DVD-R's. I moved over other things to my external hard drives. My PC's under warranty, it's not even a month old. :bored: so I'll get it replaced for free.

Don't even know. I bought a cheap PC. I was only planing on using it for the next year and a half before I spend big money on a good PC. I've always had cheap PC's in the past but never had major problems.

This is getting weird. Now I don't get error messages, I ran HP hardware diagnostic tools it found no problems.

I wonder if this had something to do with me downloading a 20 gig torrent file.
