View Full Version : Napster?
On the new comp I bought from Circuit City, it has napster downloaded onto it already with a free trial. Is Napster legal now? Kind of like Itunes? Havent kept up with it for a while

Pretty sure napster's been a legal purchasing site for a while now.

Yes, it's a legal service now. I used it when I was telecommuting a lot just to have a good mix of music around.

Napster returned and became legal some years back, but they still suck.

I heard you need a "napster enabled" mp3 player if you want to listen to their tracks. if you are legally going to download music use itunes/amazon
then you can rip the itunes music in jhymn so it works in all mp3 players!

I liked napster back when it was illegal to get songs from.

I'll stick with bitlord, and get no end of torrents. I mean, erm... I'll buy everything legally to avoid any litigation.
