IPOD Car jack hookups

Couple questions regarding IPOD car hookups. First I havent been able to find one that supports 8 gigs Nano. I ordered one off amazon but I think I fucked up and it might end up being compatible for 3 gigs or less. No problem I'll just sell it to someone who needs it.

So the question I have is. Which brand if any supports 8 gigs for a car hookup? Also which is slightly more important. Which one is of the best quality that transfers the sound with little or no quality change?

I have an older car. A 2001 Jetta. My buddy was telling me most newer cars are more compabitle and better equipped to handle it though.

My car already had the audio input jack when i got it so i just went to Radio Shack and got the cable and it work's good with my Ipod. The one i have is the 30 GB video so you might want to try Radio Shack if you happen to have one in your area or maybe try Best Buy or Circuit City.
