Most Promising Horror Films in 2018

I have already mentioned in some comment that 2018 is going to be a fascinating year for horror movies' fan and it may be among the finest horror years as well. There are going to be many sequels in 2018 including "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th". Also, we are going to see another "The Grudge" film.

I'll tell you what film I'm least looking forward to, Suspiria. That's one of my favorite movies of all time and a remake can fuck right off.

I didn't know there is a Mama 2 but I'd check it out since the original had some potential and I'm always down for another Friday the 13th if it ever gets made but from what I understand it was cancelled.

There's only about 3 films on that list that I am looking forward to and Friday the 13th xviiimck.... whatever is not one of them. Stop making that shit already!

Maybe Frightmaster knows more but I don't think this movie has gone anywhere in quite a while.

As far as I know F13 still isn't happening, but if it is it's being done in secret because I haven't heard anything new on it moving forward :shrugs:

Death House, Halloween, Insidious 4, Friday part 13(if it even happens), God Particle, The Predator, The Nun, Noseferatu have me intrigued the most. The rest can fuck off.

Actually there's nothing on that list that really sparked any interest. Bunch of remakes and sequels to movies that don't actually rate a sequel

Nick Castle is returning to play Michael Myers in Halloween. Holy shit!

If you think 2018 is bad; you should look at what they have so far for 2019...nothing but remakes and sequels planned at tis point

Winchester and The Nun for me. The rest are typical horror fluff with Meg and The Predator not even really being horror, more like action with horror elements.
They better change the ending for MEG :facepalm:
I'm also not sold on Halloween just because of the hype with Jamie Lee coming back. I want to know the plot and how this will work before I get excited.

Agreed. Curtis "returned" for Resurrection and look what happened with that fucking train wreck. Even H20 was pretty mediocre.

H20 was the last movie out of the series that's actually worth watching. I have high hopes for this new one though.
