Devour (2025)

Devour begins during the atrocities of the Civil War when we witness a weathered yet rugged soldier, Jerry, sharing his insatiable bloodthirst through his immortality amongst the surviving troops. Although this plays no foreshadowing memory in the next segment of the film, it was a solid start.

This first week of November is offering another decent amount of new releases to catch. One of the more notable titles is BLACK PHONE 2, as it lands on PVOD tomorrow. A young woman named Abigail (wonderfully portrayed by Meghan Adara), arrives late to her church group’s therapy session where a circle of folks struggling with issues from loss to addiction, share their stories of hitting rock bottom and seeking the help they’ve desired for ions.  

This Week's Notable Horror: 10/27 - 11/02

After a few packed weeks of new releases things are finally slowing down in this final week of October. Specifically, if you missed it in theaters HELL HOUSE LLC: LINEAGE finds its way to Shudder this Thursday, while Friday offers a majority of the new releases. In fact, if you're in a theatrical mood, AMC theaters are offering viewers a chance to catch two movies for the price of one ticket this Halloween.

We're less than a couple weeks away from Halloween and once again the new releases are not letting up, as this week delivers almost two dozen new titles to check out. Some notable ones among the lot are: COYOTES landing on VOD and THE LONG WALK on PVOD tomorrow.
