Dear David (2023)

REVIEWER RATING:
4/10

Dear David is based on a Twitter thread (or X as it’s called now) that went viral back in 2017 from cartoonist Adam Ellis, who worked for the popular entertainment news and media site Buzzfeed.

Monsters of California (2023)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

Monsters of Cailfornia is a passion project from first time director Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 fame. Reportedly a big believer in aliens and conspiracy theories since his youth, it only makes sense for Tom to put it all towards a platform like writing and directing.

August Underground's Mordum (2003)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

After 2 decades since this debuted for the extreme cinema fans hiding in the bowels of every city across the United States, Unearthed Films gave it a reboot and released it to the AU followers who love their horror in bucket loads of filth and vermin.

Shaky Shivers (2022)

REVIEWER RATING:
5/10

Actor Sung Kang (Han from the Fast and Furious franchise) makes his directorial debut with this horror comedy, which reportedly harkens back to the cheesy genre films from the 80’s. Specifically, the films that would sometimes feature a mishmash of monsters.

Waking Nightmare (2023)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Upon receiving the screener for Waking Nightmare, it says “starring Diane Franklin”. So of course, my first thought is “Fuck yeah!”
