The Conjuring: First Communion


No official plot yet, but it's said that this is a prequel that would "go back to the beginning and focus on the early years of the ghost hunting couple."

This project is in the early stages of development, as it was only recently announced. (10/30/25)

Short film director Rodrigue Huart is in talks to helm this new installment. (10/30/25)

Writers Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg (duo behind The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Eli, The Nun 2, The Conjuring: Last Rites) return to script. (10/30/25)

It's currently not known if actors Orion Smith and Madison Lawlor (both of whom played a young Ed and Lorraine Warren), will reprise their roles.

No word if Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will return in any capacity.
