The official trailer for ED GEIN: THE HOUSE OF HORRORS is now available below, offering fans a glimpse of the dark and atmospheric feature inspired by the infamous crimes of Ed Gein.
The film is described as blending psychological suspense with brutal horror while exploring the devastating effects of grief, obsession, and manipulation as one man’s fractured mind descends into unimaginable darkness.
The story follows Ed Gein, a socially isolated man shaped by the suffocating influence of his fanatically religious mother. After her death, Ed begins hearing her voice, convincing him that women are sinful and must be punished. As his grip on reality deteriorates, he transforms his home into a grotesque house of horrors, leaving a trail of terror in his wake. Meanwhile, those closest to him desperately attempt to uncover the truth before it is too late.
Producer Stephen Staley commented on the trailer’s release: “We’re incredibly excited to finally share the first footage from ED GEIN: THE HOUSE OF HORRORS. The trailer captures the unsettling atmosphere and psychological intensity that define the film while only scratching the surface of the nightmare audiences can expect. We can’t wait for horror fans around the world to experience it.”
ITN Distribution is expected to release the film in the US later this year.
