We've got a little more than a handful of new notable releases this week. Tomorrow sees a few movies land on PVOD: the sci-fi horror flick ASH, the throwback comedy slasher HELL OF A SUMMER and LOCKED starring Bill Skarsgård and Anthony Hopkins. Meanwhile, the UNTIL DAWN live-action movie lands in theaters this Friday. Check below for everything notable coming out this week.
NOTE: This is not a comprehensive list (there's simply too much to keep track of), but it is a list of the more notable movies to look out for. If you spot an error or if a movie is missing from the list, contact me. Keep in mind that these are US release dates, so they may differ if you're in another country.

HELL OF A SUMMER
TUESDAY - APRIL 22nd (PVOD)
Follows 24-year-old camp counselor Jason Hochberg, who arrives at Camp Pineway thinking his biggest problem is that he feels out of touch with his teenage co-workers. What he doesn't know is that a masked killer is lurking on the campgrounds, brutally picking counselors off one by one.
LOCKED
TUESDAY - APRIL 22nd (PVOD)
When Eddie (Bill Skarsgård) breaks into a luxury SUV, he steps into a deadly trap set by William (Anthony Hopkins), a self-proclaimed vigilante delivering his own brand of twisted justice. With no means of escape, Eddie must fight to survive in a ride where escape is an illusion, survival is a nightmare, and justice shifts into high gear.
FREWAKA
FRIDAY - APRIL 25th (Shudder)
Follows home care worker Shoo, who is sent to a remote village to care for an agoraphobic woman who fears the neighbors as much as she fears the Na Sídhe — sinister entities who she believes abducted her decades before. As the two develop a strangely deep connection, Shoo is consumed by the old woman’s paranoia, rituals, and superstitions, eventually confronting the horrors from her own past.
THE KILLGRIN
FRIDAY - APRIL 25th (VOD)
After a personal tragedy, Miranda explores unconventional self-help methods, only to learn from a spiritual healer that she has an infection of her aura called a ‘KILLGRIN’, which thrives off her misery. Initially skeptical, Miranda turns to the more traditional method of group therapy, but soon unravels a terrifying truth when people close to her suffer a gruesome fate.
UNTIL DAWN
FRIDAY - APRIL 25th (Theaters)
One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again - only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.
