We're another week in October and the releases still aren't letting up, as we have a dozen new titles to check out. Specifically, tomorrow sees the PVOD release of THE CONJURING: LAST RITES and HIM for those of us that missed'em in theaters. Fastforward to Friday and we have the VOD release of the period shark flick BEAST OF WAR and the latest from director Bryan Bertino (The Strangers) titled VICIOUS. There's still a lot more to choose from this week, so check below for everything notable coming out.

THE CONJURING: LAST RITES
TUESDAY - OCTOBER 7th (PVOD)

The film is said to take place in 1986, five years after the events of the last movie. The Warrens are retired from the exorcist business, largely due to Ed's heart attack (the one sustained in the third film). They still hit the university circuit, presenting talks at various schools, but even those opportunities are drying up until one last case pulls them back in: the Smurl family haunting.

THE DROWNED
TUESDAY - OCTOBER 7th (VOD)

Woven with references to Greek mythology, The Drowned follows three thieves who have just stolen a priceless painting and arrive at a secluded safe house by the sea, only to discover their fourth accomplice is missing. They must question whether one of them was responsible for her disappearance, or if the blame lies with a more sinister presence lurking in the deep water below.

THE HEALING
TUESDAY - OCTOBER 7th (VOD)(DVD)

Lyuba flees her abusive husband for a mysterious retreat with friends. Surreal rituals and haunting visions reveal dark secrets, pushing her to confront a terrifying choice: escape or succumb to a chilling fate.

HIM

HIM stars former college wide-receiver Tyriq Withers as Cameron Cade, a rising-star quarterback who has devoted his life, and identity, to football. BEAST OF WAR

When their boat is sunk while crossing the Timor Sea during World War II, a young troop of Australian soldiers must find a way to survive the harsh seas on a quickly shrinking life raft. Hundreds of miles from anywhere, they must confront interpersonal conflicts, enemy attacks, and the advances of one very large, very hungry great white shark. From Kiah Roache-Turner, director of Wyrmwood and Sting, comes this uniquely terrifying tale.

WHAT HAPPENED TO DOROTHY BELL?

Ozzie Gray, who, after uncovering disturbing revelations from her early childhood involving her late grandmother, Dorothy Bell, sets out to video document her investigation into these events. Seeking answers, she visits the library that Dorothy died in to try to communicate with her spirit. As her attempts become increasingly desperate, Ozzie unwittingly awakens something far more malevolent than she could have ever imagined.

WITHIN THE PINES
