This Week's Notable Horror: 09/22 - 09/28


The releases have slowed down this week with only half a dozen titles. The most notable release is THE STRANGERS: CHAPTER 2, as it opens wide to theaters this Friday. Check below to see everything coming out this week.

TUESDAY - SEPTEMBER 23rd (VOD)

A group of troubled teen criminals is sent to a mysterious facility for cutting-edge treatment instead of serving prison time. Five students decide to spend their weekend away at a remote villa. What starts as a fun trip soon turns into a holiday from hell when they find themselves in a battle against a powerful dark force. The film flips familiar horror tropes on their heads to create a new and original take on the cabin-in-the-woods horror.

FRIDAY - SEPTEMBER 26th (VOD)

A recently deceased woman haunts her estranged son Jack (Dacre Montgomery) and her grieving widow Jill (Vicky Krieps). When the woman's spirit inhabits the survivors, the living must grapple with the destruction she left behind while fighting for their own survival.
