This Week's Notable Horror: 04/06 - 04/12

Last week was one of the slowest we’ve had in a while for new releases, but things pick back up this week with over a dozen titles. If you missed'em in theaters, tomorrow brings THE BRIDE! and PSYCHO KILLER to VOD. Meanwhile, Friday offers plenty of options, including the limited theatrical release of the Japanese film EXIT 8 and a wide release for the new FACES OF DEATH.

If you are interested in the experiences of American veterans returning from war, consider watching Ashes, which portrays Matt Benning's challenges as he adapts to life in the Midwest. The film highlights his struggles with unemployment, limited family support, and addiction.

This Week's Notable Horror: 03/30 - 04/05

We had a good run of new releases lately, but things sadly slow down this week. Aside from a few on-demand titles, there's not much coming out. Tomorrow sees the VOD debuts of the backwoods horror flick DOLLY and SCREAM 7. Then on Thursday, the alien horror-comedy TOUCH ME is expected to arrive on VOD, though I've read some conflicting reports, so that release may change. Check below for more info on this week's movies.

DRAGN (2025)

Director, writer, and star John Vamvas pays tribute to classic gangster films like The Godfather, The Untouchables, and Goodfellas with a gripping, tightly paced crime thriller.

Spring is officially here with a packed slate of new releases and introducing over a dozen titles to check out this week alone. A couple notable flicks include the French creature feature THE DEEP DARK and Sam Raimi's latest, SEND HELP, both of which land on VOD tomorrow.

This Week's Notable Horror: 03/16 - 03/22

The new releases have slowed down a bit compared to the past few weeks, but there are still some notable titles in the mix. Chief among them is the horror comedy READY OR NOT: HERE I COME, which debuts in theaters on Friday. Also arriving is the action-vampire flick VAMPIRES OF THE VELVET LOUNGE, starring Mena Suvari, Dichen Lachman, and Stephen Dorff. It also opens Friday, though only to limited theaters. Check below for everything notable coming this week.
