The Mongoose (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Liam Neeson behind the wheel of a Mustang Shelby Super Snake GT350, battered and barreling past the police? We know the drill. Or at least we think we do. The Mongoose starts with the familiar pleasure of watching Neeson do what Neeson does best: defy authority, take a beating, and keep moving.

The Snitch (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Some nightmares vanish when you open your eyes. Others follow you into the classroom, wait for you at home, and settle into the places where you should feel safest. The Snitch belongs to that second, far more unsettling category.

Gator Face (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

Florida has a gator problem. And Jessup City has something considerably worse. With a masked killer prowling the swamplands and hungry reptiles turning the local waters into a danger zone, Gator Face serves up a gloriously wild double helping of backwoods horror.

This Week's Notable Horror: 10/26 - 11/01

We've got a near dozen new releases to choose from as we head into the final week of October. Tomorrow brings the VOD debut of the Indonesian horror flick GHOST IN THE CELL and the latest J-horror movie NEVER AFTER DARK, while Wednesday sees BREEDER arrive in limited theaters. Meanwhile, Friday marks Halloween Eve, and it's also when the bulk of this week's releases arrive.

The 3 Killer Pigs (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

Forget the huffing and puffing. In The 3 Killer Pigs, the fairy tale trades straw, sticks, and bricks for a generous helping of farmyard antics. I have always loved The Three Little Pigs, so the childhood nostalgia gave this one an immediate advantage.

AYNIB PODCAST: Episode Episode 150 Resident Evil and October Movies

Ryan, Shane, and Mike return for another romp exploring horror and talking nonsense. Ryan took a trip to Chicago and met up with Mike and see some music, Mike’s cat does his absolute best to break Ryan’s train of thought, Shane reminisces about live shows, and we all find out who would crap in Johnny Depp’s bed and what our favorite novelty popcorn buckets are. We all look forward to some high quality horror including #JefferyDollmer, #Crossed, and #ExorcistMartyrs.

Ash and Bone (2022)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

From its opening moments, Ash and Bone sinks its hooks in with a desperate escape that ends in cruel irony. A terrified young woman flees through the woods and flags down a car on a dark road, only to find her pursuers inside.

This Week's Notable Horror: 10/19 - 10/25

It looks like new releases are slowing down this week, with just over half a dozen new titles heading our way. The biggest standouts are the theatrical debut of CLAYFACE and the supernatural flick THE CYCLE on Shudder, both arriving this Friday. Check out everything new and notable coming this week below.

Breeder (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
9/10

Breeder is as sick and sinister as anything horror has coughed up lately, mainly because its nightmare never feels entirely removed from reality.
