What a horrible movie. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on this - some saying it was original and others saying it was a complete mess. Well I find nothing really positive about this movie except for maybe all the blood and the gore. I wasn't really into the first film, so I knew I wouldn't really like the sequel, but I didn't expect to not like it this much. Oh well. The movie is basically about a plain overweight woman who kills various other women by gutting and removing their stomachs; supposedly driven to insanity by haunted visions of a small boy.
I really wasn't into this movie. It was too slow and boring. It didn't pick up unless the woman killed someone. The rest was just boring dialogue and not much else. I wasn't into the characters and I found the main person annoying at times. There weren't any good scares, but the little boy did make a couple scenes a little creepy. That plus all the blood and gore was what made me decide to give it a 2-rating instead of a 1. From what I remember, there weren't any ties to the first movie. It was basically just another wasted sequel. The last 15/20 minutes were the best part though, because it wasn't as boring as the rest of the film. That's pretty much when we get to see an interesting climatic battle.
A worthless boring sequel. Not much of a relation to the first movie. Had some decent blood and gore though. Not recommended.
