The first official poster for the next saga in the Twilight series titled, Eclipse, can be seen on your right. As if you didn't already know, the flick hits theaters on June 30th 2010.

As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob—knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

Slew of new CASE 39 pics!

A slew of new pics for the delayed Case 39 have been added to the gallery. Just hit the thumbs below to be taken there for more. The flick was originally set to have an August, then February 8th '07 theatrical release, then it was pushed to August 22nd '08, and then again to April 10th '09, before it has finally settled on a January 1st 2010 release.

Starring Renée Zellweger, Ian McShane, Bradley Cooper and Jodelle Ferland, the movie centers on a social worker who tries to help a young girl whose parents seem to be abusing her, but discovers that the child may not be as innocent as she appears. Brand new DAYBREAKERS trailer

Yahoo! Movies debuted a brand new trailer for Daybreakers earlier, which you can find below. The vampire flick opens in theaters on January 8th. Additional videos, pics, and information can be found here.

The film is set 10 to 15 years in the future, where the world has been taken over by vampires whom have all accepted their lives and have returned to their everyday jobs and suburban homes. The story focuses on two vampire brothers -- one embracing the vampire life and is part of some military organization to trap and capture the last remaining humans for food, while the other is seeking to become human again.

ZOMBIELAND 2 in 3D!

Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer chatted with Moviehole recently, where he revealed that Sony is interested in revisiting the film in the form of a sequel, which Fleischer hopes will be in 3D.

He mentions that the original cast is willing to return for the next installment, but don't expect it to go into production anytime soon, as a script hasn't even been written yet.

Right now the project is merely in the "talking stages", so expect another couple years (at least) before we possibly see it.

VAMPIRE KILLERS DVD Art Now Revealed

DVD cover art for the UK horror/comedy, LESBIAN VAMPIRE KILLERS, whoops....excuse me...."VAMPIRE KILLERS" has now been released.  It can be found on the right and enlarged for detailed viewing.  The title makes its North American DVD debut on December 29th from The Weinstein Company and Vivendi Entertainment.  Still no official word on special releases (if any) as of yet.  If any are revealed, I'll be sure to let you all know!

Blu-ray's Got CABIN FEVER This Winter



Eli Roth's 2002 debut horror film will finally make its Blu-ray appearance on February 16th, 2010 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.  As of right now, there is no confirmed cover art or special features to announce at this time.  Stay tuned for further developments!

Premise:
Jeff, Karen, Paul, Marcy and Bert embark on a vacation deep into the mountains. With the top down and the music up, they drive to a remote cabin to enjoy their last days of decadence after college. Then somebody gets sick. Karen's skin starts to bubble and burn as something grows inside her, tunneling beneath her flesh. As the others try to save her, they look at one another and realize that any one of them could be next. One by one they turn on each other and the rest of the town... realizing that the disease is the least of their problems.

Capture PARANORMAL ACTIVITY Before the New Year!



  

After only playing in theatres for about a month or so, Paramount Home Entertainment are no rushing this new indie POV ghost horror film to DVD and Blu-ray.  It's set to hit store shelves on December 29th!  For those of you wondering what special features will be on these discs....well...there are none.  But we will be offered both the theatrical cut and unrated cut with a shocking alternate ending not shown in theatres.  Blu-rays will include a digital copy of the theatrical cut of the film.

First Troma Blu-ray is POULTRYGEIST!



POULTRYGEIST: NIGHT OF THE CHICKEN DEAD will be the first Troma Entertainment title to hit Blu-ray shelves next year!  It will debut on February 23rd, 2010!  Lloyd Kaufman has planned monthly releases of old/new Troma titles on Blu-ray next year, so be on the look out for more Blu-ray releases of you favorite Troma titles!  So far, there is no confirmed cover art or special features at this time.  Stay tuned for further develpments!

Time for a remake of THE HOWLING

Since werewolves are starting to get noticed in the genre again, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Joe Dante's 1981 lycan feature The Howling is getting the remake treatment. Variety reports that producers Joel Kastelberg and Moonstone Entertainment's Etchie Stroh are working on The Howling: Reborn, with Steve Lane and original exec-producer Bob Pringle.

Former studio marketing exec Joe Nimziki (who worked at New Line, MGM and Sony) will be making his feature-film directorial debut from his own script. Plot details are currently being kept underwraps, but the original starred Dee Wallace-Stone as a news anchor stalked by a serial killer, who turns out to be a werewolf.... read more

Fango reports that IFC Films will distribute the Spanish survival horror flick Paintball via their video-on-demand service on January 29th, while the French zombie pic The Horde will get a similar release sometime in February 2010. Trailer for SEASON OF THE WITCH!



The full trailer for the upcoming Nic Cage movie Season of the Witch is finally available and can be seen below. You can expect to catch the flick when it hits theaters on March 19, 2010.

Nicolas Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade (Ron Perlman) to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.

Synapse Brings EMBODIMENT OF EVIL to R1 Disc!



The latest film in the Coffin Joe trilogy will finally be making it U.S. DVD/Blu-ray debut sometime in 2010 from Synapse Films!  No official word had been broken in regards to what special features will be included in these releases, so please stay tuned for further developments as they continue to unfold!

Premise:
After serving a 40 year prison term, Coffin Joe is finally released. Back on the streets, the sadistic undertaker is set upon fulfilling the goal which sent him to jail in the first place: find a woman who can give him the perfect child. During his search throughout the city of São Paulo he leaves behind a trail of horror, coming up against supernatural laws and folk superstitions. “Embodiment of Evil” is the third film of the Coffin Joe trilogy which began with the classic “At Midnight I’ll Take Your Soul” (1964) and “This Night I’ll Possess Your Corpse” (1967).

More footage found in French trailer for [REC] 2

France is next on the list to get a theatrical release for [Rec] 2, while Spain and Japan have already recevied theirs back in October. You can check the new French trailer below, which contains new footage from the flick, but keep in mind that it's dubbed in French and there currently aren't any English subs.

You can expect to catch [Rec] 2 in the US sometime next year, when Sony Home Entertainment (much like they did with the first flick)  releases it straight to DVD.

Taking place after the events of the first film, as we follow a medical officer and a SWAT team outfitted with video cameras, who are sent into the sealed off apartment to control the situation.
