UNCLE SAM Wants You....To Own His Blu-ray!
The 1997 William Lustig-directed horror film will make its Blu-ray debut on June 29th from Blue Underground. Cover art is posted on the right, which can be enlarged for detailed viewing. Special features include the following:
- Audio commentary by director William Lustig, writer Larry Cohen and producer George G. Braunstein
- Second audio commentary by director William Lustig and star Isaac Hayes

THE STEPFATHER Original Finally Comes Home to Blu-ray!
This past October, Shout! Factory brought you the DVD debut of the original 1987 cult classic horror film. Now, those who were anticipating a Blu-ray release can finally start celebrating! This summer, on June 15th, the distribution company will finally give this film the HD treatment! Cover art has been posted on the right, which can be enlarged for detailed viewing. No confirmation in regards to what special features (if any new) will be included in the release, but I can only imagine they would mimic the current DVD features at the least.

Brand new A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET trailer

With the film's theatrical release a couple months away, the promotional bandwagon has kicked up a notch with some new stills and word that a second trailer will premiere online via Myspace this Thursday and also be attached to prints of The Crazies, which opens on Friday. Christmas Blu-ray Debut for the ALIEN ANTHOLOGY!
For all you Alien franchise/Blu-ray fans out there, I've got some great news for you. According to an official trade ad obtained by High Def Digest, The Alien Anthology will FINALLY be making its Blu-ray debut around Christmas time this year from Fox Home Entertainment! It can be found on the right and enlarged for detailed viewing. The ad teases us as far as specs go; new 1080p HD transfers, 7.1 Surround Sound, Trivia Tracks, BD-Live Content. However, there is one special feature confirmed not found on this add. Blu-ray.com confirmed there will be new audio commentary tracks featuring Sigourney Weaver.

Lionsgate Release the NEOWOLF DVD Before the Next Full Moon
In another blatant attempt to cash in on the success of the Twilight craze (the first being the Near Dark DVD re-release/Blu-ray Debut), Lionsgate Home Entertainment are set to re-release last year's indie horror/thriller film to store shelves on April 20th, which saw an independent release under the alternate title "The Band From Hell" last Spring. Cover art can be found on the right and enlarged for detailed viewing. No confirmed special features have been release. Stay tuned for confirmation on these features (if any) as well get closer to the release date.

Street Date for the TELL-TALE DVD/Blu-ray
Inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe short story, "The Tell-Tale Heart", TELL-TALE will hit DVD/Blu-ray shelves nationwide on May 18th from Vivendi Entertainment. For those of pondering a blind purchase, Blockbuster have already released the film exclusively for rental at their stores. There's no official word as to the special features included on the DVD or Blu-ray; not even cover art to post at this time. Finally at Long Last, THE EVIL DEAD Debuts on Blu-ray!
Sam Raimi's classic 1981 horror film, purported to be one of the scariest movies ever made, will finally have a Blu-ray debut sometime this year from Anchor Bay Home Entertainment. Not only do we have an unconfirmed release date, but we also cannot share any cover art with you or announce what features (new or old) will be added to the upcoming release.
