Agreed
I'm so ready for this film but I bet it won't be out for a super long time. Robert Hiltzik is a great writer, so there's really no telling how he's gonna follow up from Return, but I hope this film brings Aunt Martha back in the same fashion as Dr. Gordon in Saw: The Final Chapter and has a twist at the end as well.
ok. i loved the original. suspenseful, scary and the obvious twist ending freaked me out. unhappy campers and teenage wasteland are AWESOME!! pamela springsteen did an outstanding job as angela. when felissa rose did it in return to sleepaway camp, she just looked way out of place. she acted way better in disguise as the police officer, and she acted way better in the original film! and YES this IS a curiosity watch. what can they do now? i dont see any more angles they can go off of to make this. but nevertheless, im anxious to see where it takes me when i watch it. i would pay someone a million dollars if they brought springsteen back for this one.
I can't wait for this one. Yea it's a bit different but they will stick to the original. I hear Jonathan Tiersten is playing Ronnie (The original Ronnie) I got him on FB and it also says on IMDB that he is playing him
So hopefully he does.
Okay so they're going to ignore Unhappy Campers and Teenage Wasteland? Ummmm that's disappointing and confusing considering that Springsteen did an awesome job as Angela. I love the Sleepaway Camp movies but I'm hoping they don't totally F it up royally.
I personally think Pamela Springstien did a much better job with the role of Angela

I loved the original and a few of the sequels were fun. But this series is really getting old. Not really sure what they can possibly do with it at this point. Guess it's worth a curiosity watch.
Concerning the last installment "return to sleepaway camp" (#4), I wish they would just end the series already. I wouldn't know exactly how to make much sense of this one compared to any of the last ones really. Considering that Return revolved mainly around fatty. I wish they would cut the 3D gimmic. If it's not animated then there is no point. Atleast it's not a remake, thank fuck for that.
