Suicide Club (2002) A good movie that plays around with the uncommon theme of suicide. Interesting, original and loaded with blood and gore. I recommend checking this out. |
Whispering Corridors (1998) A good story, but too slow and has a lack of good scares. Worth a check if you've seen the other Whispering Corridor films, or if you can get a hold of it cheap; otherwise don't bother. |

The Eye 2 (2004) A failed sequel to a great horror flick from Hong Kong. Although it does have its moments, it doesn't compare to the originality and creativity of the first. Worth a check if you're a fan of the first movie, but not recommended otherwise. |
Visible Secret 2 (2002) Worth a check if you're a fan of Hong Kong horror, but don't expect a lot of scares. I recommend just checkin' the first film and skipping this one |

Krysten Cummings It’s been four years since the fantastic British horror film The Descent was released so for me, the sequel had a lot to live up to and after such a gap in time I was unsure if it could live up to it’s predecessor. If you are unfamiliar with The Descent, the story revolves around a group of friends who go potholing on an adventure holiday but they soon realize they are exploring wrong cave system and become trapped inside. While trying to find a way out they realize there’s something down in the darkness waiting for them.

Anya Lahiri I thought I'd give this little low-budget pic a chance after reading the intriguing premise, but had I known it would be this bad I would have immediately skipped this wasted effort. The story begins in the late 60's and follows a couple "lipstick lesbians" in a hip swinger party, where a little mishap leaves a young playboy dead and the two girls running for their lives. While on the deserted open road they make a stop and one of them is struck down by a being of higher power (possibly God), who grants one of the girls the power to smite down all of the world's evil. However, the girl requests that her friend (Sophie Monk) may be resurrected and given the same power.

Kim Hae-sook Acclaimed South Korean director Chan-wook Park makes his genre debut with Thirst, a film that I've been anxiously awaiting since I first heard about it. Many are probably already aware of Park's work with the "Vengeance Trilogy" or more specifically Oldboy -- the second installment in his trilogy. Being a huge fan of the director and South Korean cinema in general, I expected that we wouldn't get a standard genre effort and I was right. Although a vampire flick, there are so many more layers in the film that cross over to Drama and Romance, so those looking for a cliched vamp feature need to look somewhere else.
