This is one of the best werewolf movies I've ever seen, aside with An American Werewolf in London. It was original and entertaining and not to mention the lead chick was really hot. Excellent. It starts off pretty cool with these two sisters, who are fascinated with death, going out one night and one of them gettin' bite by a mysterious "dog". Next thing you know it, the hot sister is starting to grow hair in unusual places and getting very large teeth. Hmmmm.. The movie keeps you entertained from the start to finish. It was interesting to see how the sisters would get out of certain situations when knowing that the older one can easily lash out and bite the hell out of someone. They dealt with regular teen situations mixed with a little werewolf edge to it.
The story is very original and the acting was very well done. The creature effects for the werewolf weren’t bad. It's better than whack computer effects that were used in American Werewolf in Paris. That was a waste. Naturally this movie had a lot of excellent gore. It was interesting to see the younger sister going out to find a cure for her bitten sister. Eventually she does indeed find a way to stop this werewolf disease, but is it too late? Ah, check the film out for yourself. I liked everything in the movie except that I wanted the wolf to go on a rampage and just eat up a bunch of people. You don't see that kind of stuff often, so I was hoping this movie would have it. Sadly it didn't. Oh well, it was a good film none-the-less. Would have given the movie a higher rating, but it didn't have much of the wolf as I wanted. Other than that it's fine.
One of the best werewolf flicks that have come in a long while. Recommended for any horror fan.
