Fool's Day I rather enjoyed watching this film. I remember my mom renting it a while back, but I wasn't really into horror films at the time, so I didn't watch it. I finally decided to check and see what I missed. This film isn't really scary, but it does have a nice blend of humor, but with a title like April Fool's Day it'd have to have humor. It starts off pretty basic with seniors going to a rich friend’s huge home for the weekend. One thing I liked about the film is the question whether what's happening in the film is real or if it's just another trick being played on someone. This isn't really your basic slasher because it doesn't have all the stereotypes that many 80s slasher films have, like a lot of sex, nudity and some dumbass killer in a cheap mask. Probably one of my favorites in the twist ending horror department! Makes a great point on the genre, I really enjoyed it! 8/10!
a remake of this? thr original is okay, but doesn't warrant a remake. it has funny moments but not scary at all.actually saw this a the movies when it came out. damn, now i'm showing my age!!
I liked this movie. It wasn't scary though. It has Amy Steel in it from Friday the 13th Part 2 = )
I thought this film was terrible. I could not believe that the entire film turned out to be (SPOILERS REMOVED) To me, it was writing at its poorest level. Films like Apirl Fools Day are insulting to the audience. I will see the remake because I know it will not be any sorrier than this pile of trash was.
You thought the ending was predictable Frightie?? Wow, i had NO idea that twist was coming! I thought it was great and very original for its time! Great movie, i hope the remake doesn't ruin it!
