Attic Expeditions I've wanted to see this film ever since I first heard about it a few years ago. I even remember having it listed on the page for a while, but ended up taking it off, because it seemed like it was going no where. It took forever to finally get a video release. I can't say that it was as good as I thought it'd be, but it had its moments. Starts off with a guy named Trevor, who wakes up in a mental institution with no real memory of his past. He was supposedly put there because of some ritual he performed on his girlfriend many years before. He killed her in the process of it. As time goes on Trevor slowly starts to remember bits and pieces of what really happened and we later learn in the film that the head-doctor, played by Jeffrey Combs, has a different agenda played for Trevor. I really had high hopes for this movie, but after seeing it I was left confused and disappointed. It was cool to see Jeffrey Combs in this film, because he's always playing the weird doctor-type characters. I'm sure this is one of those movies that will take repeated viewings to actually understand what's going on, but I was only able to view it once, so I still don't fully understand the ending of the film. It doesn't really have much for scares except for maybe one unusual scene in the film. This is more of a thinker-type film than anything. I would have given it a higher-rating, but I found it boring in parts and confusing through most parts. I really wanted to like this, but I just couldn’t. At least the performances were well done.
